General Motors' original plan was to introduce the drop-top version of the new Camaro equipped with an electric folding canvas roof one year after the coupe went on sale, meaning that it should have arrived in showrooms in early 2010.The company hasn't explained the reasons for the delay, but we assume that GM's bankruptcy filling and the initial lack of cash played a significant role in pushing the launch date back.
