This new sedan, Chevrolet Sail features a 1399 cc, 4 Cylinder in-line Petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 94 Bhp and a maximum torque of about 129 Nm. Any official details regarding the mileage and the top-speed of the vehicle is not yet released and also, currently there is no chance for it's diesel variant to reach here on the Indian roads.

The Volt shares the same platform underpinning its Chevrolet Cruze compact, but these two models are starkly different from each other. The Chevy Volt has a unique body, aerodynamically designed to enhance fuel economy at all times. As designed, the Volt will run on battery only power for the first 40 miles of drive before the supplemental gas engine kicks in. This extended range electric vehicle should be able to travel more than 340 miles on a full tank of gas and much further with additional fill ups. A nightly recharge will replenish the battery allowing the car to operate in electric-only mode once again.

The Volt hybrid uses an 111kW electric motor as its primary driving force. When the lithium-ion battery pack is used up after 40 miles (65km), the 80bhp petrol engine comes to life to recharge the motor and battery pack, extending the vehicle's range to 300 (547km) miles plus. Combined engine and electric power comes to 150bhp and 370Nm (273lb-ft) of torque.

Although the fuel economy has not increased a great deal, the small change will certainly amount to recognized savings for any owners that drive in various conditions. The estimated city mileage is 15 mpg whereas the estimated highway mileage is 21 mpg.

The Tahoe also has excellent interiors. There is a wide trim placed on top of the dashboard, this gives illusion of a larger space. Production is to begin in early 2011 at GM’s Orion Assembly Center in Michigan, which is receiving a $545 million investment in upgrades and retooling to accommodate the new car.

According to GMI, former U.S. marketing chief Mark LaNeve originally wanted to rename the Aveo to “Viva.” Then, following General Motor’s bankruptcy filing in 2009, former GM vice president Bob Lutz ordered the Aveo name to stay put.
