Gumpert, the German Supercar Maker has announced that it will be selling its Apollo supercar in US via joint venture with the Evolution Motorsport. The Supercar Apollo - which presently acquired the top list of fastest cars around a Top Gear test track, will be shipped to United States for its concluding assembly and the performance testings in Arizona.
The car is hand made coupe and can be offered in 3-different designs: GT, Street or Race car. Each model is progressively more focused on the pure performance.
After completing final assembly, the car will distributed from Tempe to the Huntington Beach, CA, where private dealers in United States, European Touch, will provide the cars for sales.
The 1st Apollo is already on a ground in United States, having cleared the customers at starting of Sept.
At about 1090kg (2,400lb), Apollo’s 4.2-liter Audi 650 horsepower (480kW) and 850Nm (627lbft) V8 engine offers sufficient force to acquire car to 60 mph in only 3s, 124 mph in just 8.9s and on to top speed of 224 mph.
