While we’re hoping that Autobild’s claims for a sportier version of the Mondeo Sedan in 2012 are based on actual facts, we’re crossing our fingers and praying to God that Ford’s anti-VW Passat CC proposal will have very little in common in terms of design with this artist’s rendering. The front-end of the car looks like a swollen fish that came out of an appointment with a bad dentist. Utterly ugly.

The 2011 Mondeo range will start to go on sale across Europe from September 2010. Further information and technical details of the 2011 Mondeo range will be released closer to launch and its debut at the Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS) on August 25.

The new edition of the highly popular Ford Mondeo will make its debut at Moscow Motor Show on August 25. The new model features an updated design inside and out for both sedan and estate versions, and also gets two new engines. Ford says that the quality of the new model is also enhanced. Not that the current Mondeo is bad, but there’s always room for improvement!
