Yamaha needs to stay in the game with products to compete with the new range of 250 CC bikes hitting Indian roads in the year 2011. Honda has recently opened bookings for Honda CBR250R and Bajaj is also going to launch its Bajaj Pulsar 250 soon. With these performance bikes coming to roads, time is apt for Yamaha to launch it 250 CC bike in India. As per some of the sources, Yamaha may launch its FZ250 bike in India which is powered by an oil cooled 250CC fuel injected petrol engine. The power delivered by this bike will be about 20 BHP which is enough for the punch one can expect from this segment of bike.

The price of the FZ 250 is expected to be kept below Rs. 1.5 Lakhs. The pricing will be a crucial for the bike as the Honda CBR250 is also priced quite aggressively. The launch is expected after mid of the year 2011, we will bring you the latest updates as they emerge.

2011 Ducati 1198 SP Replacing the 1198 S, the 2011 Ducati 1198 SP includes upgrades such as a slipper clutch and a quick shifter. Ducati has unveiled the 1198 SP Superbike at the INTERMOT Bike Show. The new SP model headlines the changes to the Superbike line, but Ducati also announced stock upgrades to the base 1198 model. The Italian marque revealed a higher spec version of its Supersport entry, the 848 EVO, earlier this year.

The new SP superbike features the same 170 horsepower L-twin from the current 1198. The big news is the Ducati Quick Shifter and sublime suspension. The quick shifter worked very well at Imola and is a very welcome addition on such a technical circuit.

Verano is only attainable with front-wheel drive.Like the Regal, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine equipped with direct injection lurks underhood and devolopes 177 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. The Cruze, meanwhile, uses different engines altogether – either a normally aspirated 1.8-liter or a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Interestingly, the Ventiports on the Verano's hood are false advertising, with six holes to suggest there's a six-cylinder engine underhood.

Either way, Buick says the larger four-cylinder is estimated to achieve 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. To sweeten the pot, Buick also says that a turbocharged 2.0-liter four will be available after the Verano's initial launch, and while we don't have any details on this engine, we'll bet our bottom dollar that it's exactly the same one that's used in the Regal.

Official pricing will surely be announced closer to the car's on-sale date near the end of 2011. If early reports are to be believed, however, expect the Verano to be priced around $21,000 for base models, going as high as $26,000 for cars with all of the trimmings. The C111 was an experimental vehicle by Mercedes-Benz that featured a four-rotor Wankel engine. It never made it to production although Mercedes did follow with successor concepts.Mercedes C111, a car that was globally lauded back in the day for its revolutionary Wankel diesel engine. Despite the number of prototypes that were made, the C111 never became a production model and soon thereafter, it was lost in the yard of discarded concept models, never to be heard from again.


The Ciento Once proposal includes a tubular space frame chassis with a Mercedes M120 V12 engine producing 408 hp (304 kW / 414 PS) and is coupled to a 6-speed Cima H type trans-axle.the original at 103 inches (2616 mm) and weight is similar at 1,400 kg (3086 lbs).


The interior of the Ciento Once resembles the original from the 70's with some updated features: carbon fiber seats covered in plaid, instrumentation modeled after a W120R MB (including the radio and the a/c control unit), brushed aluminum pedals, dashboard accent, and illuminated door sills.


The power plant is a M120 Mercedes V12 engine with 408 HP, which can be admired trough a glass on the rear deck. The robust engine is paired with a 6-speed Cima H type transaxle and a special tuned exhaust.


The Ciento Once will feature a slightly shorter wheelbase than the original (103 in) and maintain the weight around 1,400kg. Assisted by the upgraded suspension with coil-overs, to adjust the ride and height, and the same braking set up as the S55 Mercedes Benz, this car will definitely be fun to drive.

We hope that with the recovering economy globally and a strong economic growth in India, we will see another eventful and prosperous year ahead for Indians and Indian industries. 1. Kawasaki Ninja 650R For India

Had i been a wealthy person, i would have bought the bike that we are going to talk about today. I am talking about the soon to be introduced Kawasaki Ninja 650R which is sibling of very popular motorcycle already running on the roads on India, Kawasaki Ninja 250R.Kawasaki is a world renowned brand which initiated the trend of bikes with Ram Air engines. The line-up offered globally is certainly worth its price with a host of features and breathtaking performance right at a push of the throttle and now with the addition of Ninja 650R in March 2011, the expansion plans of the company seem to take shape.

2. KTM Duke 125 For India

KTM will soon launch its KTM 125 Avatar concept 2010 variant in India. The Sporty Dirt bike will be called KTM Duke. The 911 is the most successful model in Porsche’s history. Ducati claim the Diavel is the new shape of power and style combining twin-cylinder heritage and Italian style with confidence to extend the boundaries of motorcycle design. We’re not so sure the boundaries are being that extended that much in actuality, but probably by enough to radically redefine the dynamic of what a power cruiser is. The greater power over the 150bhp multi is likely due to the different intake and exhaust systems. The Diavel features 58mm headers and large, and functional air intakes along each side of the 17l (4.5 US gallon) tank.
